Islington Carers Hub provides advice, information and support to all carers aged 18 or over who live or work in Islington or care for someone living in Islington. They do this either directly or through our work with other organisations. They offer advice and information sessions at a range of venues and carry out carers Assessments.

The Samira Project is a partnership project in Islington between IMECE Women’s Centre, Latin American Women’s Aid (LAWA) and Kurdish and Middle Eastern Women’s Organisation (KMEWO) supporting BME women aged 16+ who subject to VAWG including, domestic violence harmful practices such as forced marriage, “honour” based violence and female genital mutilation.

Previously known as Action on elder abuse, Hourglass is a UK-wide charity dedicated to calling time on the harm and abuse of older people. At Hourglass and through their helpline, they work for safer ageing and a fairer society.

Better Lives is an integrated drug and alcohol service delivered by Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with WDP and Humankind. They offer a free and confidential support service for individuals and their families affected by drug and alcohol problems. Find out more about their open access drop-in centres.

Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity. It aims to create a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life. It helps single Londoners by preventing homelessness, providing support and accommodation, promoting wellbeing, enhancing opportunity, and being a voice for change.

When the temperature drops to 0° or below in any part of any London Borough, SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Protocol) is activated.

St Mungo's helps their clients move on from the problems that caused their homelessness and continues to work with them to rebuild their lives.
