Fiona Bateman, the Chair of the Islington Safeguarding Adults Board, and highly regarded expert in safegaurding adults, is delivering a briefing session as part of National Safeguarding Adults week on 'Combatting Closed Cultures'. 

Find out more about how closed cultures in health and social care organisations are linked to greater risk of harm to patients and residents.  Fiona Bateman will outline some of the practical steps practitioners and organisations can take towards encouraging and adopting more open cultures.
